Selections for The Palmetto Championship and The Scandinavian Mixed Tournament

we made a profit of 14.25 points last week . Max Homa placed at 100/1; Patrick Cantlay delivered on our in play pick; Matthew Southgate part placed in play on Monday . I will go through all the detail in the analysis blog which will be out on Wednesday.

This week, in the build up to the U.S. Open next week, we are North of Savannah in South Carolina . The European Tour is in the Gothenburg area for a mixed event combining the men’s and ladies tours. It is championed by Henrik Stenson and Anneka Sorenstam . The ladies will play from their own tees.

The Palmetto Championship

Will be played at the Congaree Golf Club, Ridgeland, South Carolina . The course is a par 71 and is 7.655 yards in length . It is a Tom Fazio design, which opened in 2017 . The course is tree lined and is built on sand. it is a private members club. The tournament is a replacement for the RBC Canadian Open . It is the first time that the course has been used on the PGA Tour.

The fairways are fairly wide and the course is long. It has a lot of natural sand hazards and water, but little rough. The Bermudagrass greens are elevated with shaved run off areas. The course is flat and normally plays firm and fast. It is rated as one of America’s best private golf clubs.

Scandinavian Mixed

Is to be played at the Valda golf and country club near Gothenburg. It is a par 72 course and is 7.060 yards in length. The field is split 50/50 between the European Tours Men’s and Ladies competitors. The Ladies have an advantage of playing off tees that reduce the length of the course by just over 900 yards per round. The course is based upon heath land and there is little water on course.

Our initial selections are detailed below.

Good luck Martin
